OK, well I'm really excited about working at this new job. It'll be fun, but challenging at the same time. I'm working at a children's day camp. I'm not too worried thought, it will definitely be a learning experience. The only thing I'm worried about is that I still have to get my Health Screening done, and have my immunizations sent in order to work there. I start work on Monday, and I only have until Thursday to get everything to them. I don't know when I could get that done, but ya, hopefully everything works out. I just got my CPR certificate today, so that was cool. I'm going to spend the rest of today probably preparing myself for the job. Going over the Policies and Procedures Handbook, as well as the test they gave us. Hopefully I'll look over it enough to feel comfortable enough to not be nervous on my first day and know what to do throughout the day. It'll be fun though.
I'm really getting back into VW Bugs again. I really want one for some reason. I've been looking around, and then I found one that is exactly what I'm looking for. The only things wrong with it, is that it's not the SPECIFIC year I want (but one I wouldn't mind having), it's all the way up in Davis (so I wouldn't be able to go and check it out) and it costs quite a bit of money (that I don't have), but it's really good for the amount of money he's asking for. I already like everything about it. Initially, I wanted to get a VW Bug and restore it, but the reality of it is that I don't have the time or space to do that. This guy who's selling this VW has already tore the whole thing down and rebuilt it (with a pretty new engine in it) and only has a couple things that he would suggest getting done. The headliner needs to be replaced, and he would suggest getting some new shocks sometime down the road. Everything else he's cool with, and would keep the same. I don't know what I'm going to do. I really want it, but I don't have the money to get it. I'm not sure I want to get rid of the truck though to have the money to get this, because I want to have something available IF something goes wrong. That way I still have a car to use and get around in. I'll probably do some more thinking about it and see what some of my other options are. Hopefully I'll come up with something good.
Also, I'm really excited to be in my family softball team. I can't wait to get back playing again. It's so much fun, and it's also a great relaxer, and time I get to spend with my family.
Again, sorry for not keeping this updated all that often. I'll try to keep it updated more, now that things are starting to calm down a little. I'm going to get going now though. Later
