so I went to the bar last night...

of course, it was sunday night, so the population was low...

something I'm just not seeing anymore is the population of big girls.

I can't understand it...

I don't know why big people are so fucking shunned. It's fucking rediculous...

I mean, I see a cute big girl walking down the street... my first thought isn't to gawk... quite the opposite... I try to imagine the dirtiest thing that said person has ever done.

Because, naturally, curvy girls make better lovers..

Marika, I think you'll back me up on this one.

I really can't understand society's fallacy with appearance. Why can't people just fucking be happy with how they look instead of trying to "slim down"

Let me tell you how much I hate the phrase "Slim Down".

Now, I can understand someone wanted to lose weight for health reasons. But there's a well defined line between health and vanity.

I say this having weighed 296lbs the senior year of high school, today, seven years later I'm around 260. I didn't exercise or sweat it off or eat right. I kept my normal diet, and naturally, being somewhat poor, that consisted mostly of cigarettes and water hah.

However, I did not go out of my way to drop the weight. I would consider myself, besides the smoking, in reasonably good health.

However, seven years ago, I was not shunned or mocked for being a big person. Quite the opposite, people respected me for who I was and not for what I looked like.

Now, I realize that most people think there is a double standard; that big guys are ok, but big girls aren't...

Well, why the fuck should that be?

I've said it before, and I'll say it with every last breath I have. Some of the most beautiful women you will meet are beautiful because of their curves. Not only are they beautiful, but they are some of the most compassionate people that you will ever meet.

Big is beautiful, no matter what is said otherwise. Anyone who tries too... punch them in the eye. Tell them "Ralph sent you."

{end angry rant} - a function I still think LJ should impliment. - xposted here and there
