recording today
just so that everyone knows as exciting as recording is to be doing
as awesome as it is to say youve dont it
as awesome as it is to say that your on a cd
this is what recording is like
*takes a foot pedal from a drum kit
lays down so that legs are spread and pedal is inbetween legs
midgit runs from nowhere and jumps onto pedal
hudson screams in agony*
recording is like hitting yourself in the balls about 15 times per hour
then realizing why you hit yourself in the balls in the first play
and doing it more and more times until you get it right
granted its not the greatest recording in the world
*it is afterall only a DEMO*
were not sure of a name for it yet
but yeah im thinkin well sell it for like 2$
normally wed give it away
but what the hell
we just need something to give to people
improve the recordings we have on Purevolume *also we have 2 new songs*
get emma some recording experience
and something to mail to clubs and labels
it was overall fun
"London Burning", and "Ben" are the two new ones
"Ben" has daniel in it,
and "London Burning" has a crying kitten in it, not even kidding
while emma is singing london bridge is falling down
otherwise we redid "Plaid" and "Bad Day"
i dont know if i like them better or worse then the originals but whatev
well deal with it tommorrow
moral of the story
10 hours for 4 songs
whoever hears it better damn well appreciate it mu fuckas
but for not
im tired
grumpy
and hungry
so im going to bed
night kids!
p.s. "Ben" rocks soooooo fucking hard. thats my favorite, its a great fucking song.
