Ok, so the weekend was fantastic! You know one of those weekends you come out all relaxed and content? Well it started off going over to Ston and Sabrina's (Ben's school mates) place to play the new dvd game of trivial pursuit with them and Amanda and Leigh (more of Ben's school friend's)... it's so much fun! Three couples head-to-head... Ben and I were coming last until the end when we neaaaarly whooped everyone... TEAM AWESOME!

Then Saturday bummed until 2 when I had to break the news to Emily, my wedding photographer friend, that I was leaving for Europe... she was so excited for me, but also devestated... what her plans for for 2006 made me want to just stay here and help her out.. she was even going to train me up on digital so by the end of the year I could go out on my own! But she said I'll have a job with her when I get back, so that meade me happy.

Sunday was full-on-fun with Benny Boy. Started off going and FINALLY seeing The Producers with Renee, which was AWESOME... a musical, Will Farrell and Mel Brooks together... although if you don't like silly comedy then I wouldn't get enthusiastic about it, but I LOOOOOVED it!

Went to Sizzler for lunch then... god their food is good... pumpkin soup, french toast and spaghetti bol... mmmmm...

Then went to the Wedding Expo at the Arts Centre... paid out the dresses on the catwalk...
"This dress was uniquely designed by....",
"Yeah, they found ugly and mixed it with dirt"

"..... has an excessive sense of style"
"She has excessive everything by the looks of it"

We couldn't find one male celebrant... WHERE ARE YOU!... and Ben walked away satisfied when he found a literal fountain of flowing chocolate... :)

At least, I think we found Ben's outfit for the wedding... the Matrix outfit! Not literally, that's just what they call it, but it looks amazing and it's actually very similar to what I pictured my future man to wear... :)

Also found this awesome idea of having goldfish as centrepieces for the tables instead of flowers! Soooo creative!

On the way home, we then picked up 7 dvd's to watch over the next week: What's Eating Gilbert's Grape, Schindler's List, Buying the Cow, Striptease, The Mighty Ducks, Varsity Blues and Trainspotting... guess which four Ben picked!

So all-in-all it was a great weekend... now I'm back at work and have NOTHING to do! :)
