Why???
I am so sad right now- I just found a good friend of mine from HS passed away last week. :( She had very severe epilepsy, and had a grand mal seizure. Life had been tough for her.
She couldn't ever gt a license, so she had to depend on others for rides. It was tough for her to find work, b/c very few employers want to hire epileptics. Her mom, to whom she was closest, passed away a few years back, and the rest of her familly was NOT supportive of her and her needs. She had a hard time finding/staying in a decent r-ship b/c guys were usually scared off once she had a seizure. She finally found the right guy a year ago, he proposed. They had been planning the wedding. She had a bad seizure late last week, but didn't want to go to the hospital to get checked out. The next morning, she had another one, and couldn't get to the phone to call 911. Her fiancee found her later that afternoon on their bed. He also found a little card she had written him she was planning to give to him on Father's Day. She was 6 weeks pregnant.
I am so stunned, I don't even know what to say. The services are in CA today at noon.
