Right. In a couple of hours, I'm off to Edinburgh. Wish me luck! I'm happier about it now that I've found what appears to be a really nice belly dancing group. ;-)
Packing books? Worst thing ever. I can only take one box of them, and how is one supposed to balance the books one needs to always have around and the books one wants, and new books as well, in one box? It's horrendously difficult. But I think I can survive on what I've packed. I hope so, anyway, or else I'll realize halfway through term that I forgot a massively important book, go into a "fever" (what I call those phases where I absolutely must read a specific book, and no other book will do, and in fact I will not eat or concentrate on anything else until that book is read) and buy a new copy. Thus landing me with twice as many books by the end of the year.
Congratulations to England on winning the Ashes. *doesn't choke at all on those words* *grin*
I would rather that play hadn't been so interrupted at the Oval, because I like my cricket to be played, dammit, and not drawn by default, but that's nobody's fault, and it's even odds this game would have been played to a draw (or an English win) anyway. *loves on Shane Warne just because*
And now I have a brand new obsession that won't be fed till next summer. *sigh*
Life's a bitch. I love it.
