Went to Niagara Falls today with my mum. It was absolutely beautiful - we did the Maid on the Mist boat trip, going close to the falls and getting completely drenched in spite of the cute plastic raincoats they provided us with... I managed to make some "friends" on the boat, too, lucky me

And yeah, I am having fun, though I'm a bit tired of travelling. I don't think it'll be any easier at home, though, as I'm due to have the operation next Thursday, and mum'll be a bit clingy... Other than that, Canada has been really muggy, so getting somewhere cooler will be a blessing, though I can see that you wouldn't think so. Poor darling. Also, *sympathy* for the money issue - I'm having trouble restraining myself, as I've found some great books and just don't have room anymore to bring them back! *hugs*
I have,'t read Fool's Fate - I have it at home, and have been waiting for lots of spare time to become obsessed again. As for the Kay book - I know too much about the period to have really been engrossed by the story and history, as I've read his bibliography and more. So I was less impressed than I could have been, but hey, still glad I read it!

Can't wait 'til you read Robin Hobb, and indeed you'lll need a lot of time to get out of a Robin Hobb fever, it's just... arrgh, I felt so bad when I had finished it in Iran, I talked to my mother about it I was so upset! Oh well, you know what I mean ;)
