I am in shock. In shock, I tell you. I was on the point of reading something on FF.net (I know, I know, I deserve everything I get. But I was desperate!), when, quickly scanning to see if there was anything my fastidious nature could not abide (A/N where the author states "hehehe, I love this bit, don't you?" fall into this category...) when, lo and behold, there it was.

In other news, I was supposed to go out tonight for another film evening of fun, but decided at the last minute that my failure to find non-static-y clothes to wear was obviously a sign and that I should stay in. My excuses for avoiding company get better all the time...
Edited to add: Because I obviously have so little to do with my time now that I have cowered away from the terrifying socializing, I am surfing LJ communities. Love this -

I can't understand this.
schiarire: Because math lives in a high high tower with spikes all down the sides and only lets its hair down to let the chosen few ascend. And if you are not one of the chosen then huzzah! you get to climb the spikes. Which, although admittedly handholds, are sharp and pointy and make your hands bleed. And because you are one of the chosen few, you will never know what it is like to have the common + sign become like a ninja throwing star and slice right through the part of your brain that you used to be happy with.
