Spring Break Ski Trip!
So we had to be at church at 7 saturday night for dinner for ski trip, after eating Rayla, Ellen, Katherine, Hilary, Conchetta and I went to Rayla's house with her do she could get her insurance card. Well while we were there we all played with Hannah's puppies oh mi gawsh! they were sooo adorable... Except when one went potty and uhh Hannah cleaned it up... ok anyways moving on.
So after awhile we loaded the charter bus, These girls we hadn't met yet, Holly and Mercedes sat in front of us,I sat next to Hil, Rayla and Andrew sat across from us, Kelly Foster and this guy named Logan sat behind us, Ellen and Kat were across from them. It was a blast Hilary and I colored pictures then she stuck them to the air condition vent! Hilary and I made a little tent and watched half of the notebook on Merce's DVD player then it went dead!
Once we got there on Sunday night we went and rented our ski's and boots or snow board(depeneding on who you were)Then we got to the condos and we figured out the rooming situation which was complicating at first but then it turned out to be Mrs Bollom's Condo- Hilary, Me, Rayla, Christina Graveline, Kelly Foster and Alice Piper. Wallace's Condo- Kat, Ellen, Conchetta, Kristen Kasney, Amy Tran, Holly Tran and Kristin.
Well once everyone in my condo and the boys condo settled in we got on all our skiing clothes and went and played out in the snow. And it was really nice fresh snow a good 3 feet or so of it so we all sunk down to like our waist it was pretty hilarious. And well me being dumb slid down this little hill into even deeper snow and was laying on my stomach in the snow and Andrew tackles Rayla then come rolling down the hill and LAND ON TOP OF ME! So I sink down in it! and so im completely buried in the snow with the weight of andrew and rayla both on me! It was scary lol b/c i was like sufficating in the snow! So I arch my back thinking I can force myself up to breath well I only thought that Rayla was on top of me instead of Andrew too, Haha so yea that kinda of hurt my back.... but then I layed down in the snow and looked at the stars they were sooooo pretty up on the mountain! Later that night we had daily mass w/ Father Richard and after mass Rayla, Christina, Hilary, Mrs. Bollom and I went in the hot tub at the condo, it was one of the highlights of my whole vacation! It was soo nice!
The next day was our first day of skiing it was fun i was pretty bad at it at first, I went insanely TOO FAST and really hadn't got the whole going slow concept haha! Well on one run I was going way to fast and trying to slow down and stop b/c a split in the run was coming up and uhh when that happened I usually kind of just made myself fall well this time I ATE IT, went slidding for a ways down and when i finally came to a stop I was an inch away from a slope down into some trees and someone was like well you stopped just in time. Well in the process of trying to get up I fell down the little slope which was all fresh deep snow on top of like rock. Needless to say I COULDN'T GET BACK UP IT! Father Richard and some other guy had to pretty much drag me up. I have to admit it was hilarious. Well that night after dinner and daily mass Rayla, Hilary and I sat on the top bunk in Rayla and I's room and talked about God and Guys, and read through Song of Songs and Corinthians, which was really fun.
Tuesday skiing was really fun in the morning Kat, Conchetta, Hil and I and a few other people went down some greens together, a bunch of us girls got our picture taken, it was soo cute! but omg it was snowing like CRAZY that day and we were going down this one slope and at one point its really wide open and no trees, and it was like blizzarding! no joke, we couldnt see a thing and it hurt when the snow hit us it was like little pieces of glass hitting your face. So we stopped and waited for it to slow down. Then Katherine took, Conchetta, Hilary and I through this trail and oh man all I can say was it was simplely gorgeous! My knee was throbbing in pain but we sat and ate snow for awhile and we were like surrounded by trees! Man it was sooo pretty and it was snowing and wow, no words can describe it!
Tuesday night we went tubbing! Which was simplely the coolest thing ever! WE mad one long train of like 18 people and went down it was sooo much fun! We attempted to make a 26 person train which is like 3/4's the people in our group. I was like the 3rd person in the train and all is going good and we are close to the bottom of the hill and I turn around and i'm like uhh wow we lost some of them! and Travis goes "well I got "lil" Michael's shoes, but I don't know where he went!" And we all find this histarical! Cj is laying in the snow dieing laughing! Our 26 person train turned into a 6 person train w/ the 7th persons shoes! Man it was sooooooo much fun!
Wednesday was our last day of skiing it was pretty fun I stuck to the easy greens with Kristen since she really could only do the really easy ones b/c of her wrist. Which was fine by me because I was really tired.
Andrew asked Rayla to prom after skiing on wednesday it was soooo sweet Rayla was all giddy and couldn't stop smiling it was very cute! That night we got to go downtown and shop for awhile which was really fun I bought a t-shirt, custom made that says, "When in Doubt, wipe out" on the back, haha very me! When Merce, Hilary, Amy, Mrs Bollom and I were walking back to our condo this one truck drove by and honked at us scaring all of us and making us jump, which was hilarious! Well they most of followed us or something b/c then we were like a little ways from the condo and their comes the same truck. It slows down and one of the guys leans out the window and goes " How old are you girls?" and Hil was like "too young for you, 16" and the guy turns to his friend and is like "uhh I think they are a little to young!" then he is silent for a second turns back to his friend and is like " AHHHH THEY ARE WITH THEIR MOM!!!!" and then they speed of really fast it was hilarious, well Ellen and Chetta started walking our way a little after b/c they had to go to the 7-11 and so some of us join them so they don't have to go by themselves. Well guess who is sitting parking at the 7-11? The same truck! Haha we just laugh and wave as we walk pass them, and they are like 30! man they most be desperate.
Later that night Rayla, Hilary, Christina and I watched Head Over Heel's in our condo then, Rayla Hilary and I had good conversation about guys in ray and I's room, we each had our own thing to saw it was pretty cool.
We woke up Thursday morning and ate Breakfast had daily mass and then were on road, Hilary and I watched the notebook with "big" michael(i like the book alot more then the movie), then played one really long game of dots w/ merce and "big" Michael. I came in 2nd to michael by 8 squares but its all good, after that merce and I locked "lil" michael in the bathroom.... he wasn't to happy about that! Then after we stopped for dinner and left our good faithful bus driver Jason :(, Mercedes, "big" Michael, Christina and I all smashed(literally) into a 2 person seat and watched The Grudge, which was good and just scary enough to make me jump at times, haha it really was that scary though but it was pretty funny to see the 4 of us squashed in one seat! After that we all seperated and went to our own seats to fall asleep. Which I couldn't do b/c I COULD NOT GET COMFY! I ended up seating on the floor between seats, not the aisle but in btw the seat in front of me and my seat and I slept like that for like 3-4 hours! So ya I'm eshausted and I'm going to go to sleep till like 8 tonight haha!
