Nathan can make some bad choices when he's pressed. And right now, he doesn't know which way is up anymore, which way to go. Peter was his touchstone to the reality that mattered to him, but when FP came back and shot him...that was kind of shattered, too. But how Nathan came back has felt wrong to me. He wasn't right from the get go. Something in him dying and coming back...I don't know. Not kosher by any means. But I think he had to break to the absolute foundation--one that was never really strong. I do think he has always lived his life for Peter, though. Where he couldn't have his own life, he could help Peter have a life outside their parents' expectations. But now, and perhaps earlier, there is some resentment--especially since he got killed by FP. I mean, the psychological trauma Nathan has gone through...he's cracked. Absolutely cracked. And he knows that he is on a wrong path. And I bet he wants Peter to stop him, too...cause Peter is the only one who can. I didn't see it when I was watching the ep (cause those scenes were painful), but I see it in the caps. In Nathan's confrontation of Peter in 3.14, he's visibly pained. You can tell that he doesn't like doing of saying what he is doing and saying. I think he's a terribly lost man who really has no idea what he's doing. He's been derailed. He had a path before, but now not anymore. And in making his own path, he's following similar lines to his parents. So, in essence, I think he's a bit of all three...as has always been the case with him. He can be two opposing things at the same time and each can be equally true.

Yes it's very clear that Nathan is saying "Help me, stop me, ask me what is wrong," in that scene. I just think we don't know what he is asking for help with.

Nathan doesn't know. He can't hear his own heart until it's almost too late. And given that he has done the worst possible things to his brother imaginable, aside from killing him, he really can't hear what is going on in his heart.

*nods* I think Claire may be the one to give him the wake up call he needs at least that's the theory I have based on those recent pictures.

*nod* She usually is. I know. :) I love his suit. That's not a very Nathan-like suit. I think he might be going incognito.

Yes I think both Nathan and Claire do some snooping together, which will be awesome because their scenes need a little lighting up.

And maybe something substantial between them. Need something substantial. And positive. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, HAVE SOMETHING POSITIVE ON THIS SHOW! It's killing me. :(

YES DEAR GOD. All their scenes so far have been in the vein of "I hate you, or Peter is gone lets cry." Those pictures thrilled the heck out of me because they look like they walked out of 'Oceans Eleven' and I love the idea of them being all sneaky and con artist like.

And those people who are loving this, to see this sort of drama or are liking the change to Nathan's character, I have to look at them oddly and wonder what's wrong with them. The show hinged on the relationship between Nathan and Peter. That's what Kirby Plaza was all about. And then Nathan's reaction second season, what he was going through, was because of Peter. And then season 3 hit and it's like Nathan doesn't act the same way anymore? I mean, even his season 2 was in character because of how Peter was suddenly gone out of his life. He broke. :(

And Nathan looks like himself...kinda. He looks more relaxed. I thought it was just Adrian out of character there.

Yeah I thought so too but no one else is in that shot so I think they were filming something. They said something about Nathan and Claire going to Mexico for some reason which will be awesome.

The only thing making Nathan's supposed villainy work for me if the fact that he really doesn't seem like he wants to do this. He wants things to be like they used to before all the powers kicked in and so on.

They were filming. The AD clicked whatever that little wooden board is called. Think they are in Mexico? There's a hand written sign on a wall by them. I forget what the translation is. I thought it was there already, but if it is for the scene...hmmm. Curious.

But that's weird because he seemed pretty accepting of himself. I do love me a Nathan who is actually willing to look at himself and consider what he really wants, considering he's never been able to examine what he's want in his whole life.

But his father really cracked his brain, too. And as powerful as Arthur is...maybe Nathan has the idea of stopping people like him.

Someone said Mexico I think it was Adrian himself but I can't remember. Yeah Arthur pushed Nathan to the breaking point that future Peter started. But with how relaxed her is in those picture it just makes me keep thinking something else is going on.

Nathan is going out of his way to make sure no one gets hurt and Noah and the Hunter seem to be massively against that.
