Heroes Season Three-Jania Rants

I should be doing homework but I feel the need to stop and ask. ARE THERE ANY LOVERS OF HEROES LEFT OUTSIDE MY FRIEND'S LIST? It makes me want to bash my head against the nearest wall after reading yet another critic article like this one. http://www.blueblood.net/2008/10/heroes-villains/.

For weeks now I've read of people waxing lyrical on the wonders of season one and how much Heroes has lost it's way. Now I disliked parts of Season Two but I gave the writers credit and stuck with the show anyway. I am loving this season but maybe that is because I come home, watch it and and trust that the writers will explain things down the line.

It does amuse me that people are now claiming that season one was perfection when I remember quite a few people said at the time the best episode was "Company Man," and that was it. They complained about the lack of fights, the hokey plots and the people chosen to die, kinda like they are doing right now in fact.

I'm sorry Adam died, I really am, but he needed to die, because it isn't like Arthur could have sucked his granddaughter dry right, and he clearly wants his son for something so Peter's out too. Plus Adam crossed the line when he decided to end the world on his own and in that case Arthur is reminding those working for him what happens when you cross the Don.

And the Petrelli's have not been the full focus of a season like they are this year, Year one it was the whole group that was the focus, the second was the Company founders and this year it is the Petrelli's because they are the one's in control of Pinehurst and the Company and it's about time we see why this family is as fucked up as it is in my opinion.

But I'm starting to feel alone in my love for this season and that upsets me because I also feel like these people do not take into account all the hard work that goes into the show. Fans complain and Tim Kring he listens. He heard us when we said we didn't like romance, he got rid of the people who annoyed us and gave us more action. Not only that these people created an online world that goes above and beyond what most shows do.

Fans are welcome to their opinion and so are the critics but maybe we should focus a bit less on asking for perfection and give these hardworking men and women a chance to prove themselves again before we start calling for their heads. Please if you still care about the show tell the writers what they are doing right at the same time you point out plot holes. It might be nice for them to hear their hard work is still being enjoyed.

*gets down off her soapbox*

Hope I didn't take up too much of your time.
