My friend bought her boyfriend from England to my sunny Australia last Christmas to meet her family. New years eve came, and they were sitting alone after midnight. He asked her "What would you say if I asked you to marry me?" She thought about it for a while then said, so casually; "I'd say yes." He nodded and replied. "Good. So, wanna get married?" And that was that. Their wedding is on the 29th. Emma was never really pinned as the marrying type... she ran away to Europe after a bad break-up and ended up finding her fiance there. She wasn't even looking for anyone, she was doing something for herself. I can't tell if it's luck or not.
My boyfriend's parents split when he was 17. He says he doesn't believe that two people can stay together, he doesn't believe in forever.

GHT: I want us to be like Emma and Will. I want to know that I have someone who is commited to be with me "forever." But every time I look at my boyfriend, I know it will never be him, no matter how much I want it to be. I am just constantly waiting for it all to end, and I know that it will eventually because he cannot understand the concept of two people being together "forever".
