labyrinth apprentice training part 1: ritual drafting

Yesterday was the first half of the labyrinth apprentice training. I was very fortunate to receive a significant scholarship towards it, and it has only been offered two other times in the seven or so years the New England Labyrinth Guild has been around. So far, yes. I will also post a separate entry about an amazing set of chimes which was used - very palpable as far as its effects. And of course, more about the ritual as it develops.

You should come up for one of the monthly walks. The format is different than other open walks I have been to - there is a short presentation with photos of different labyrinths, basics of walking, and so on. Then the group goes into the chapel and sits for a while and then people decide themselves when to go in.

It really takes much longer than the photo would let you imagine.

When are the monthly walks held? That would be a very good reason to get out of RI. :)
