(no subject)
Oh man, I have two weeks to school and I am NOT looking forward to it. Okay, well, no, that's a lie. I'm looking forward to school, classes, friends, everything but council meetings. I feel like I am going to be Kim Pining it up and down the street in the first couple of meetings. But I do know that everything will eventually work out, I just know it will take time and a lot of uncomfortable conversations (hopefully, very few of them directly involve me).
On the other hand, a bunch of cool new people are coming to Conbust for sure, which makes me feel good. Also, Jasper Fforde is on a book tour in early March and we totally need to invite him to come talk at Smith for serious!
Other things? My lease is ending on the 31st, so I've got to find a place to crash. Will probably end up staying with Mike which (honestly) I have no problems with and would (in fact) enjoy. Except for the fact that I don't know my work schedule yet and I need to figure out when and how I am getting to and from his place. Anyway, no big deal.
Overall, summer has been pretty good, I've been pretty happy, and I feel like I'm going in the right direction with my life. Now I just need to find what I'm doing next summer.
