The thing about cats was that while they could definitely be very affectionate and friendly when it suited them, occasionally they required some alone-time. Apparently this applied even to humans-turned-cats, which is why after spending nearly a solid week under Kenzi's watchful eye, Toby the kitten had decided to slink off on his own for a bit.
Eventually he found his way to his dorm room, where he ran in to a particular problem: namely, that he didn't actually have thumbs with which to open the door. Fandom being Fandom, the island decided to take care of this in the most efficient way possible: by choosing that moment to turn him back.
