Baltimore, Sunday Evening
With steady income and a roof over his head, Toby hadn't really seen the need to keep certain skills all that sharp. His girlfriend, of course, had rather different opinions on the matter, and somehow- Toby wasn't sure exactly how she'd managed it, something about the particular way she'd smiled at him as she'd made her argument- she'd managed to convince him that maybe it wouldn't be a terrible idea to dupe a few unsuspecting suckers out of some money.
He'd at least managed to negotiate that they'd engage in this particular exercise off-island (there were enough people with abilities similar to his that the possibility of being caught was something he didn't want to chance) and after dinner and a movie. Sure, he'd actually left Toronto a couple weeks before the very first Assignment: Improbable had premiered, but that hadn't stopped him from wanting to see the most recent installment.
"That was pretty good, don't you think?" Lots of stuff blowing up, anyway.
