Things that piss me off

The fact that Manhunt 2 is a (shock!) adults-only game doesn't surprise or piss me off. What does piss me off are quotes like this:
"Hopefully Take-Two has learned from its Manhunt 2 experience and will undertake preventive measures to ensure its future games, including Grand Theft Auto IV, are appropriate for families and gamers."
Not all gamers are children. In fact, MANY gamers are not. Just like comic readers---it's stuck in that ghetto where it's considered a kids medium. They're not. Increasingly, you're seeing older people in games in the same way that comics readers are, on average, in their 20s and 30s now. There's no reason why an Adults Only rating shouldn't work, but it's in the same position as NC-17. It's considered porno/snuff for having that rating.
And yes, Manhunt 2 is probably close to snuff but, damn it, it's a game. The first one had some nice, tense gameplay and a camera that rendered it often impossible. I'd have played more of the first one if it weren't for control problems, but sometimes I want to play something this over the top that a 13 year old shouldn't play. It shouldn't be up to The National Institute on Media and the Family to make sure every game in my library is appropriate for my 12 year old cousin. I'm an adult, let me choose.
