Cried like a Baby
Well today is my day off and I diceided to watch a few girlie movies that BoyToy didn't want to see. I watched Shall we Dance this morning. That was really good. I really enjoyed it. This afternoon I watched the Notebook. It was soo good but it made me cry so much at the end. It was such a sad story!! It really got to me when she remembered at the end and then started to freak out not knowing where she was or who Noah was. It was so sad! Then them dying together.. Awhh.. Still making me cry..
Okay lets talk about the weather so I can stop cryin!
Well life is good over here. I gave my cats a bath today.. I figured that since it was warm out, they needed a bath. Well Phantom (little black 7months old) didn't mind it that much. Tried to get out of the tub and did not use his claws at all. He was good. I only got two tiny scratchs from him and not wet at all. Bear on the other hand... Well he didn't like that at all!!!! I had to hold him down and he got me SOAKED! His long fur really holds water well. He jumped out of the tub a few times dousing the bathroom and me with water. I had to finish the job though and get the shampoo out though. He will be going to a groomers for future baths.... I did not get scratched by Bear though. He just started to hyperventalate and howl. heheh it was pathetic. Then I had to dry him and brush him. At least the purpose of the bath to get some mats out was accomplished. I did get a few mats out. Along his spine he has some bad ones and I was able to get them. After the ordeal in the bathroom, I went out onto the deck to dry myself out. I coaxed Phantom out with treats but Bear wouldn't go near me. Least he's not hiding and running away from me. He let me brush him again a few minutes ago.
The nice weather we are having is making the snow melt.. YYEEAAAH We have our whole drive way back.. Well almost. There is only a little bit of snow on our driveway now. When the snow started we only shoveled one lane not both because we only had one car. Well in February when we got the second car, I chipped and shoveled some of the snow away so that we could at least get both cars in the garage. Now we don't have to go into the garage at an angle. We can just drive up the driveway normal..
The snow in our backyard is gonna be there till June I think. There is not much sun on our backyard so the snow really hasn't started to melt. The spring rain should help though. I can't wait till the weather is nice enough and the woods near us are dry enough that we can start exploring over there. We have this huge big wooded area near us and we haven't been able to explore it yet. I can't wait to start.
I should go get dinner started though now. I live such a 50's life style here.. heheh it's funny. I do all the cooking and cleaning and BoyToy does everything else:) Well BoyToy does cook and he makes wonderfull Mac and Cheese. He does clean too... when it gets really bad or there are no more clean dishes left or clean clothes.
Oh well:) Life is what you make it.
