kreteks are now illegal
I know most of you won't care, or will be mildly happy about this, but there is a new law that makes kretek (clove) cigarettes illegal. I smoke fairly rarely; actually, I've been smoking a bit more lately due to hanging out with Alex. But, this still irks the hell out of me. I like my Djarum Blacks.
Phillip Morris has passed through legislation in this bill making it illegal to sell flavored cigarettes, other than menthol. They rationalize this by saying underage smoking is mostly the flavored cigarettes. WTF?! Does this mean we should outlaw Malibu Rum as well, because the kids drink it? Fuck this pisses me off.
