Good riddance?
I don't understand the hatred so many people have for 2008. It seems that it is often the same people who say "good riddance" to every "old year" on New Year's Day. Could every year possibly be the worst year of your life?
I'm optimistic about this year, really. I just enrolled in a debt consolidation program in order to pay off what came up to $10k in piddly crap debt. Mainly medical bills and the like. The little accounts that were too small to enroll in the program (under $500), I am going to negotiate down myself and pay them off come tax time. In 18 months, under this particular consolidation program, I will be debt-free in 18 months. W00T!!!
