Rocky Horror
it was really cool! It was done up in the very best kitschy, campy and slightly goth way! They used simple production methods (periactoi, lighting and velvet), the best CFM shoes ever (including a pair of red 5" platforms that did get clicked together 3 times!) AND we all still got to do the Time Warp!
If you are looking for high theatre, go see the opera. If you want an eveing of campy, kitschy, gothy, 1950's sci-fi fun, go se the show and sing along. Oh, there are two songs added from the original score that didnt' make it into the film that we all went to to toss rice, toast nad hot dogs at teh screen. And there is a film clip at the end that will make you pee.
It's at the Ordway Center McKnight Theatre. A cute, intimate space that practically dares the audience to not get involved with the stage action!
