This Weekend
So last night I ended up conking out at like 7:30 and I slept until after 9. Then Savannah and Katie came over and helped us finish decorating the room, and we watched The Wedding Singer. Around midnight I ventured upstairs to my friend Laura's room, and my other friends Kali, Jason and Chip were there so I ended up hanging with them until about 2. I missed that so much this summer...just chilling in people's rooms until all hours of the night.
Ok, here's my fun story for today. I was in the bathroom this afternoon, and I had just taken a shower, so I closed both the outside doors while I changed into fresh clothes. About two minutes later, I was still in there putting on makeup, and there's a knock on the door from my suitemates' side. An unidentified boy pokes his head in and says "Can I come in?" - he was attractive, but not overly attractive. Me, being my foot-in-mouth self said "Sure, go ahead. I was naked for a few minutes, but it's all good now." He just looked at me and then was like "Can I use the shower?" So I oh-so-gracefully excused myself, went into my room and promptly dissolved into giggles with Amanda. Ta-da, there is my story. Naked man in my bathroom.
Tomorrow I have both my first voice lesson with the interim professor and choir auditions in the same afternoon. I'm a little nervous, but I practiced for an hour yesterday and an hour today, so I think I'll be able to wing it this week. I'm really ready to buckle down and work hard...I hope that lasts more than just the first week of school....
