I was at work and walked over to the Albertsons to grab a bite to eat. I checked out at the self checkout and went to the door. I stopped and put my wallet in my pocket after thinking it would be a bad idea to put it in my shopping bag. I left Albertsons and started walking back to Kohls. I decided to sit on the bench/old filled in fountain in front of Juliens, since i had only 5 minutes left of my break. I ate some of my food and got up about 5 or 6 minutes later and started walking back to work. after about 15 or 20 feet or so I realized my wallet was NOT in my pocket anymore. I looked around the bench, on the ground between me and the bench, checked with Albertsons Customer service desk and on the ground from the bench to the Albertsons door. I went back to work, told a manager, notified Customer Service, called Albertsons and called Juliens. No wallet (just half eaten food I had lost my appetite for). And of course this is a HOLIDAY weekend. grrr. The only nice thing is that it had no money, one bank card is $40 overdrawn and has been since I think October, the other one I can cancel tomorrow, and there was little else of value in it. Just the memory card from my camera (luckily the wedding pics had been copied to the comp already), a $25 AmEx Gift Card, a BedBathBeyond Gift Card, maybe part of a Target one, my drivers license and my SS card. Those last 2 are what are REALLY going to be a pain, not so much cause they are gone but that someone else has them.
