I eat way too much at my computer over my keyboard.
Seriously, my keyboard is riddled with crumbs.
But this is not why I write. First of all, I've had a pretty good. I got paid not just once, but TWICE! That doesn't happen very often, and it's nice to have a little extra money. I'm trying not to spend it all, but I've never been the best saver. Not the worst, but not the best, either. Also, what with buying a house, and knowing I'm going to have to buy at least a refrigerator (and probably a washer and dryer), I'm really trying to save as much as I can.
Still, I'm feeling pretty accomplished because I've got presents for all my family members except for my brother who lives in Texas for whom I never know what to buy. I need to go shopping for Devin, still, and at this point his package is going to be late and he and I are just going to have to deal with that. Gerry and I need to go tie shopping. I was really hoping I could make him Oatmeal Raisin cookies, but it looks like I'll have to buy them again. Still, it's better than nothing.
My house buying is moving right along. I really just want everything finished so I can move in, but I have to get it inspected and appraised. Getting it inspected has been a hassle already. All I'll say is that we're trying again this Wednesday and I hope we're able to get it done. I hate that this is delaying the closing.
Last night I went out to First Friday with Cory, Gerry and Ammon and we had a BLAST. First Friday is like a little fair/craft show in downtown Phoenix held on the first Friday of every month. One reason I wanted to go was to pick up the presents for two of my brothers. There's a guy who takes old hard drives out of computers and turns them into clocks. So, I had to go find that guy and buy a couple and I'm very excited for Steve and Mike to open their presents. Then, Gerry and I shared an Indian Taco. NUMMY!!! I haven't had one of those since my mission.
After we decided that we were done at the fair (it was much smaller due to the "cold" weather. Arizonians are such wusses when it comes to the cold. They make me look less wussy, heheh) we went and got some Gelato at the Gelato Spot, which we fondly refer to as the G Spot. Oh and it's delicious indeed. Then we all came back to my house for a jam session on Rock Band 2. It was a great night overall.
