alright...tickets are bought and paid for. I'll be leaving Kitsuki on August 8th, spending some time in Tokyo, then off to the states on the 14th of August. I'll be in Albuquerque 25 minutes before I left Japan...landing at 4:30 when I leave Japan at 4:55...
planning to head to Denver...the following Monday or Tuesday? then spend a week there...and head back? if that works with plans...and such...
I leave to go home to Japan on the 31st...at like 7 in the morning...and I'll get to Tokyo at 3 in the afternoon on the 1st...I just...loose a day...I spend like, 24 hours in Tokyo, then back home to Kitsuki...
I also have my Nintendo DS all geared up and ready to go. It's sexy silver, to match all my other sexy silver game systems...I only have 3 games...hope to have a fourth one before I hit the plane...but I'll not worry too much about it. I have Harvest Moon...in Japanese, Dogs...where I have to command my puppy in Japanese...and the reason I bought the ds...正しい漢字かきとりくん tadashii kanji kakitori kun...it's a game where I can practice the right way to write kanji, and learn all the readings and a bunch of kanji combos and such. I'm studying for the proficiency exam...in December, not November like I thought.
I went and saw Saiyuki last night. Kelly hauled me out to Oita, and we watched Kitsuki high school lose in the final 16...it was sad. but I got to see a lot of my graduated students at the game...felt all nostalgic and such. A couple girls called me over, and made me come stand and cheer with them. It was fun. I burned...bad...Then Kelly and I went shopping...which I hate doing in Japan...cause it makes me feel FAT...cause no matter what size...I don't fit...::sigh:: so much for that...feeling better about myself cause of exercise and such...bleh
I ended up buying my form to register for the proficiency exam...yes...you have to buy the form...for 500 yen...to pay 5500 yen to MAIL it in and register. gotta love it...
>_<;;
we are officially in summer break...of course, that really means nothing as far as me going to work and such goes, it just means that for 8 hours a day I sit on my ASS and be BORED...>_<;;
good news is I suppose...that Kelly got the new Harry Potter yesterday, and finished it in 3 hours...and said I could read it...so I suppose I'll read it tomorrow so I can be done with the series...and just be...done.
::sigh::
right
so, now, bed and possibly a little Harvest Crack are calling my name...
