AJ came to visit me, huzzah!

This weekend has been fantabulous. I had stepped out of the lab Friday afternoon briefly and saw AJ coming in from the stairwell and had a cheesy Tchavok..Tchaviosky...um... "Romeo and Juliet" slow-mo run towards each other moment. The minutes melt away when I'm with him. After work, we unloaded his truck and parked in the B lot, then we returned a lost FirstCard to the circulation desk and met up with Lisa in South Spencer. AJ snuck in her room while I snuck off to sneak up on Samantha next door. She was in such shock that she hung up on her motherla. 'Twas funneh. I hope her mom called her back. Anyway, AJ, Lisa, and I went to dinner at El Carreton, and then AJ and I had time together in my dorm room, putting the mattress onto the floor and stuff. Then we got ice cream, since AJ's throat was hurting (because he's been sick). We had just started watching Stay when Gretchen came in. We all chatted for a bit, and by the time she left to go to a party, we decided to call it a night. I had had a horrible night's sleep Thursday evening, waking up every hour at least, giving me maybe four fragmented hours of sleep. So by midnight, I think it was safe to say that I was out like a light. Gretchen came back in at 6am, and I told her how AJ and I took the old married couple route by going to bed before turning into pumpkins. Then I played with his hair and told him how I didn't mind that one bit. He's just too darn cute.

AJ woke up before I did, and I kinda awoke to him getting up and sitting at my lappy, but I rolled over towards him and fell back asleep. I woke up again and realized I had been drooling on my hand. I'm so awesome. Then we decided to take a walk. I was still sleepy, and he said he would buy me some coffee to wake me up, and he suggested that I also get something to eat, since we weren't going to eat lunch, because he had lunch plans with Chewie and other dorks while I would be at my staff meeting at noon. So we went to Charlie's Coffeehouse over in the EUC, and I got a tall caramel macchiato and a cinnamon bun. Then AJ and I sat near the fountain, and I said, "Aw, it's like a picnic!" which is what I've wanted to do with AJ for so long. He said, "That was the plan." He's full of plans.

AJ dorked with friends all day, and I went to my two-hour long staff meeting, so yay for two hours of pay to listen to rules and eat bagels! After that, I stopped by South Spencer to visit AJ for a few minutes, and I drove off to Becca's apartment about an hour later. She has that AIM virus, so she hasn't been online lately. I'm not sure how to get rid of it though. I helped her with ripping a CD though... so that's something. Her friend Anelie introduced her to a band called The Capulets, and we listened to them and chatted for a while. I really liked their music. Then we ate spinach dip on bread, and then Becca made me a fried pizza, which is her own specialty. We played Guess Who, and then we watched two movies: Elizabethtown and Must Love Dogs, both of which are good. I don't like Kirsten Dunst's accent in Elizabethtown though, because it's not good on her, and she isn't consistent with it. John Cusack's character in Must Love Dogs made me think of AJ. Even the character's last name was Anderson, so I thought that was cute. I came back here, and after maybe 45 minutes of waiting, I decided I'd go over to South Spencer. Those Magic dorks are so hilarious. Chewie is goofy. I've only met him a few times, but he's awesome. The game was over a little before 1:00, and then AJ and I made it back to the dorm and went to sleep shortly thereafter.

We woke up this morning and showered. Then AJ got in touch with Sarah Jedrey, and I got in touch with Ben, and then AJ and I went out for a walk. We were walking in the stairwell of my dorm when AJ kissed me, causing my bowler hat to fall off in one of those cliche ways, and then he shoved it on his head. So for most of our walk, AJ was wearing my hat. I told him of how pretty the courtyard was at the Bryan building, so we walked over there, and he took a couple of pictures of me sitting on the grass in front of a couple of bushes. Then we headed towards Tate Street, where Ben and his boyfriend Chris were waiting for us outside of Subway. We went inside, and my phone rang a minute after, and it was Sarah coming to meet us. So the five of us ate at Subway. I confronted my fear of the Tate Street Subway, since the last time I had eaten there prior to today was last November when I got food poisioning from something in the cold cut trio sub (which I would always always always order). I decided to go for the Subway Melt today. After lunch, we all went to Tate Street Coffee. Ben and Chris had to head out after a while, and then AJ and I told Sarah the story of how we got together, which I always love telling. It's very cheesy 80s love story movie-esque, which makes it wonderful.

Then we had to get AJ's truck, pack it up, move my mattress back to the loft, and AJ had to go home. He's been gone for a little over an hour. We never did get to see Stay, but thankfully, my mom owns it, so I can watch it the next time I go home, which will be within 12 days. I miss AJ already, but he'll be here on Thursday the 11th to help me pack and watch me shake some hands and get my diploma case at the psych departmental graduation the next day. Oh, and my mom, her boyfriend Tim, my brothers Daniel and Phillip, Daniel's girlfriend Holly, and Vava will be able to make it to my graduation. I invited Jodie, and she hope she can get off work early for it. I've also been trying to get ahold of Misty to no avail. I want to invite Fuji too. I wish I could invite more people, but I can only bring 9 people other than myself, and I have to know by tomorrow. I'll just reserve all the seats I can, and then we'll see who fills them.

I'm off to straighten up a bit and then maybe nap.
