I guess that I shall update since I have been so bad at it of late....
hmmm so I started my job...been working at Sears for almost a full week...whoop whoop...the job itself is pretty cool, the people I work with are all such sweet ladies...especially one named Angi she went out of her way to make me feel welcome and we just clicked so that is very cool. This is Angi's first job here in America and shes only been working there for about 3 weeks so its good that I am not the only newbie...she moved here 3 years ago from China so she has a pretty strong accent but that doesnt matter cause it may take alittle more work to hold a conversation but its worth it...
worked my first Sunday shift...crazy people wanted me there at 6 AM...crazy people...but I did it..it really wasnt too bad except for the getting up part (it takes me a half hour to drive there so my happy ass had to get up at 5:15 to get ready and eat and everything)...got off at 12:30 though so thats cool...
funny thing about my first day (orentation day)..I did all the stuff and everything and I started my online training (actually did 3 1/2 hrs of it before I couldnt take it anymore) so its almost 8 at night and I call my parents to let them know that I would be on my way home. I get to my car and I am just about to hang up when i realize that my keys arent in my purse...hmm no wonder it was so light. so i look up and there they are dangling in the ignition. I had to get my dad to drive down the spare key for me..now remember that it takes a half hour to get there so I pulled donw my tailgate and sat there for almost 45 mins for my dad to get there..luckily i had my phone so i called Melissa and shared my stupidity with her...turns out that not only did i lock my keys in the car but i also had the car in the stage where you can listen to the radio and stuff...for almost 5 hrs...I am a moron when I am nervous and shy...this just goes to prove it...
oh and I have a big school girl crush on my Manager...if i was still in elementary school (hell high school even) I would write his name with little hearts around it...sad but true...I get all giggly after seeing/talking to him...he isnt even all that goodlooking but he is just the type of guy that I fall madly in infactuation with instantly...so sad i tell you
speaking of sad infactuation.....I WANT TO MARRY JEFF CORWIN...thats right as in the animal expert guy from the Jeff Corwin Experience (man id like one of those!)..he is the epitome of the perfect rachel guy...I watch his show not only for the informational purposes but also so i can sigh over him...incrediably huge dork...I love him...if anyone finds a jeff Corwin clone please direct him to Orange Park Florida or send him to me for christmas with a bow...
I work at 10 tmr and leave at 3 so I am blissfully happy..and I have tuesday off...whoop
