I'm thinking of signing up to warbigbang. I've not done a big bang for a few years now and I've only ever written one Generation Kill fic. I have got an idea for a GK AU fic that would work though. Inspired by listening to Brandon Flowers 'Playing with Fire' on the way into work this morning. I'm thinking Brad, Nate (political position), Walt (possibly working with Brad). I'd need to find out a whole lot about the US political system for this to work though.
