Totally loving CoE, Day 2 was much better than Day 1, which was pretty good itself. To me the three of them work really well together and I love the extra screentime given to Rhys. I'm liking Gwen much more now there's less of the whole mooning over Jack stuff becuase it feels that she's truly integrated. My problem with that was never the fact that I was a Jack/Ianto fan, but somehow it just didn't seem to be natural, Ianto and Jack flowed in a way that he and Gwen didn't seem to for me.
The government conspiracy stuff seems to work really well becuase it's being balanced, it's not overriding the whole Team Torchwood doing their stuff. Lois is great, it would be fab if she became part of the team. I loved the "it's what I do" line lol.
I like Jack's daughter, I wasn't sure that I would, but I really do, possibly helped by the fact that I like the actress playing her. Ianto's sisters family is brilliant, they totally cracked me up. I was surprised that I wasn't bothered by the "it's not men, it's Jack" line. It's so cliched but for Ianto and Jack it does seem to fit. Jack is unique, and their work and life is so far from normal Ianto saying that seems ok, understandable.
Ianto stole a long-arm forklift to rescue his boss/lover who had been encased alive in concrete and he found time to don PPE (hard hat and high vis)!!! Only Mr Jones!
Gratuitious naked ass shot was very nice too, and as promised by Mr B who said we'd see him naked lol.
