The Evil of the Internets
I think Twitter has stolen my concentration. I can't type more than 140 characters any more without getting a little panicky.
And in other news... KP forgot how old he was today. PWNed!
We ordered my son, Tr, a class ring last night, since he's a senior. Great deal, $139.97 with free shipping. Almost all the same features for less than 1/3 what Herff-Jones wanted for it. If he wants one, I'll order one for namelesst3hjew when he gets home from California.
I've been waking up at about 4 AM lately and not being able to go back to sleep. When I try to catch a nap in the afternoon, people tromp through my bedroom, one at a time and keep waking me up. It's irritating and frustrating.
I'm giving my class all next week off for the holiday.
Tr will be spending the holiday with my mother, so it'll just be me and Ken, Kaz, and atalantapendrag . KP and mini KP are going to spend the holiday in Dallas with KP's parents.
I'll be doing turkey and mashed taters and gravy, ham for Kaz (and anyone else who wants it, but specifically because Kaz wants it!), assorted pies (atalantapendrag suggested pumpkin in a chocolate crust, which sounded too good to pass up! I even have a pumpkin to make it out of!)with cool whip (see Family Guy), stuffing, candied yams (made out of yams, not in a can), I'll serve Cranberry jelly, and prolly a real sauce if I can find one, the obligatory crudites tray with carrots, celery and olives, and we always have egg nog (Tradition!) and sparkling juice. atalantapendrag wanted to make something too, and has listed several things to make stuff out of, so whatever she briing will be awesome, but mainly, I'm just looking forward to having her in my home, celebrating a holiday. And she'll have a kitty bag to take home to her four-legged baby girls.
Am I forgetting anything?
Probably a veggie of some type as a side dish.
If atalantapendrag wants/needs/likes/expects/would appreciate anything I haven't mentioned, please let me know so I can make/buy/steal it.
