whee I got my bubble skirt!
So this morning the fire alarm went off at 7:15. Jen, Kyle and I were sitting outside for almost half an hour as fire-fighters did whatever they were doing in the non-burning building. I did get to come in late to work though, since I lost my precious teeth-brushing and eating time. Jen and I asked Chalita, our RA, what the deal was, but he didn't know why the alarm went off. I plan on poking him later though, because I dislike the fact that I don't know what caused me to loose 13 minutes of my precious sleep.
On a better note, Jen and I went shopping at Wheaton Mall yesterday evening. Yesterday marked the start of the infamous Victoria's Secret semi-annual sale, and we had a standing "date" to knock old ladies around as we rummaged through the bins. We went slightly later in the day than we usually do, so we didn't really have to use our ass-kicking skillz, but we both bought some fun things. And thanks to my co-worker Alana I got a free pair of underwear. But I resisted getting this neon yellow bra...I got a bright green one instead. =D
It seemed like many stores were having deals of some sort. I told Jen she is magnetically attracted to the word "sale" or something: she would start walking sideways into a store after she looked in the window and saw a sale sign. We ended up poking around until the mall closed; I got a cute bubble skirt at Express for only 15 bucks w00t! I wish it was white and not black though, being as it is summer and all...but it is so smooth, I love it. And it is definitely the shortest skirt I have bought in a long time, which I keep telling myself in a good thing...
And why, Yahoo!, are you not letting me access your mail server, why...
