Last year, some intrepid souls started the
Invisible Library blog, dedicated to listing many of the fictional books used in real ones. I loved the idea of it, and the amount of work and research that went into it (Though I was a tad disappointed to not see any of the titles used in the brilliant
Special Topics in Calamity Physics - though I forget many dismissed that novel - sadly - because author Marisha Pessl is pretty. I only wish I were joking.). I am someone who loves books so fucking much, I love the fake ones, dig?
Then someone (I have no idea) decided to take some of these fictional books and
make a display out of them, put them on shelves in
something resembling a bookstore. I bleed with envy.
I
may not know what art is, but I recognize something beautiful when it's in front of me.
