No, I will not kill you, Ann

Sorry about the meltdown on Friday. Life has twisted ways of reminding me that simply being a good person and trying my best does not protect me from its impersonal cruelty. Are things better? Not really, but at least I remembered that the point is to keep pushing forward and hoping. Eventually it'll all come together.

I agree that overall the episode could have been much better, procedure-wise. But I am glad you are with me in feeling like there was nothing amiss in Goren's reaction to it all. I am worried about all the different writers going all over the place and never hitting that right note that will resonate with all viewers.

And I agree that it seemed the Seventh Season is where it all went awry. While I think the Sixth Season had its head up its ass procedurally, the emotional stuff was pretty intense without being annoying. It went overboard by Seven, mostly because the writers realized they had shot their wad with "Endgame" and felt they needed to keep aiming up there, thus "Untethered," and we all know how I felt about that (speaking of drug addiction, how much was I yelling at the screen that Bobby never brought up the fact that Donny was probably using and that's why his behavior was so erratic?).

I believe, given the events of "Frame," we should all be grateful Bobby isn't just vegging on some beach in Fiji.
