My goodness, I've been weird lately
Of course, as I told kimboosan, if I worried whether or not my flist wanted to read about a particular thing, I would never post. Y'all always have the option of not. reading.
Just a couple of things you may or may not have already seen:

I have not talked about the oil spill because I do nothing but read and hear about it all the live-long day. It is something we worry about, yes, but it is also NOTHING LIKE HURRICANE KATRINA (shut your fucking traps, FOX News). So I was almost relieved and definitely amused to see xkcd give us their take, which is the best I've seen so far (also feel the need to add that Morgan City is where we lived after Katrina, so weird):
