Happy Birthday to Me!
It's official! I am engaged! Jesse asked on Friday when I came home from work. My birthday present was on the couch and he said I could open it on Friday or Saturday. Of course I said Friday! It was Ugg boots and I was so excited. Then he said, "Try them on. I want to make sure they fit." So I was taking the stuffing out of the shoes and the jewelry box was inside them. I still had no clue what was going on. I thought he got me a necklace or some earings. I opened the box and there it was! I froze and said, "Are you serious?!" And he said, "Will you marry me?" To which I replied, "Uh, duh!" haha
The large center diamond was taken from his mom's engagement ring so it means a lot. He picked out the setting himself.
The large diamond and one small diamond are part of the engagement ring and the other small diamond is the wedding band. They link together to form one fabulous ring!
We are shooting for October 25, 2008. A fall wedding. How perfect. :)
