(no subject)
well, this week has been successfully completed and i am filled with a sense of intense sadness and happiness all at the same time. don't ask me to explain how or why. i just got home from the senior recognition picnic for the TIBU swimmers. i love all those people. as much as i complain about practices and annoyances......there will never be anything like it again. i have been a member of that team since 1998. that's like 8 years. 8 years with the same people. these people have become my family. they are my life.
after the party was over, it was just me, elle, and joe still inside. all the rest of the younger kids were outside playing flashlight tag or something of that nature. most of the big kids had gone home, but us three just lay on the floor talking about anything and everything.
it was awesome. just purely awesome.
