I know it was on its way
I knew that David Tenant couldn't play the doctor forever but it was still a sad day when he confirmed it. I first heard about it from the brittrack list I am on. Then I got an email from one of my friends. I just finished looking at DT acceptance speech at NTA and the announcement he was leaving.
Seeing how gracious he was and how much he still care about the role made me miss him even more. I know.. I know.... he is gone yet. DT even tried to reassure everyone and let them we have one more year with him. But I still feel in someway it not enough. But I do take great pride in the fact that he is leaving before the character of the Doctor is still a pleasure for him and not just a role.
To me that is a true actor. I am now and forever David Tenant fan.
