My new book
So I have ever shared with you my love for the new syndicated series "Legend of the Seeker". I can't really explain why I love the show but I have the same feelings for it that I had with "Xena: Warrior Princes". Any way there was no new episodes this weekend. (Probably because do the Super Bowl.) To help me with my lost, I picked up the first book in the series the show is based on.
Only 10 chapters in and I think the book in ten times better. The female character seem to more realstic and stronger in this book. I instantly like the hero in the book while it took me tell the third episode to warm up to him in series. Wizard First Rule.
The tv show, so far, definitely diverges from the book and it got me wondering why? But I would like to finish the book before I speculate any further.
Normally, I don't like to read fantasy. Love to watch it but never very into reading it. This book has changed my mind and make me want to give the genre another chance.
Any suggestion?
