I hate life right now. Granted, I'm overreacting and being dramatic, but with how I feel, I figure I'm allowed. The worst part is that I was fully willing to go to the walk in clinic last night. Was actually excited to go because usually I wait until it's too late or I've been sick for ages, hoping it will go away on it's own.
Well I went to the clinic I usually go to and handed them my Health Card. Nope, wrong one. I'd put my expired card in my wallet and they couldn't help me. So I went home, got my valid one and went to the clinic by my house. They're open until 6 and it was only 4:40. I walk in and she's all peppy and cheerful and tells me that they're closing early. I was like 'um, it says you're open til 6 and she said 'yeah, sometimes we close early'.
Really? Thank you Health Canada. Fuck off.
So by this time I was tired, and sore and just feeling too crappy to go back downtown to the original walk in clinic I'd gone to because by this time I know everyone would have been off work for the weekend and going there after work. So I went home and crashed on the couch.
This morning? I woke up feeling worse than I did yesterday, which was pretty damn bad. But there was a blizzard going on so there was no way I'd make it out of the house to the cinic, either one. So I just curled up on the couch and slept and had the WORST dreams possible, feel even worse than I did when I woke up this morning and am cursing how not blizzardly it is now because there is no way I'm getting even remotely close to dressed and going out to the walk in in this.
Basically, I'm congested as all fuck, my sinuses feel like they're going to explode, my ears are ringing and my throat is on FIAH! I'm not coughing (yet) *knock on wood* and yeah, I think that's it for now. I have a session with my personal trainer tomorrow, so that should be fun! (or not). I do love how I slathered myself with Vicks Vapo Rub last night and still smell of it. That is genuine. I love Vicks.
But yeah. I did not see this coming.
