...make your own god damn popcorn...

I've been on a mini hiatus... vacation ... whatever one might want to call it.  Thing is, I've been gone for a bit and am back.  \o/

Cue trumpets.  (I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm kind of a big deal).

Things started off on an abismally horrible foot.  Bad, toxic work issues (that apparently continued even after I was gone ... which I don't know how it's possible for me to generate drama when I'm not even there and moreso, when it's drama aimed at me and then blamed on me...).  And I had to decide whether or not I was going to let that ruin my time off from work.

NO THANKS!

Canada Day was spent in an air conditioned movie theatre \o/  Saw Knight and Day.  Which is interesting since I'm not all that much of a fan of Cameron Diaz OR Tom Cruise.  But I loved it.  L-O-V-E-D it!  Then Friday leopardchic79  arrived which started our amazing weekend of awesomeness.  And can I say, at one point we were speaking only in movie references and it was epic!!!  We watched some old movies, some new ones and then more old ones.  It was a Chris Pine extravaganza....

Carriers
Star Trek
Small Town Saturday Night

Which brought us into our Paul Walker bonanza of Fast and Furious movies...

There were a plethora of Brians (with an I not a y)... a boat cruise around the Toronto Islands (that didn't rain out or leave us FREEZING) and we went to see Eclipse on the Imax screen.

Didn't hate it as much as we thought, laughed more than they probably intended and left us both admitting we'd see it again with other people who wanted to see it.  Headed yesterday to the Ontario Science Centre for the Harr Potter exhibition and then went to Pickle Barrel to order an excessively excessive amount of food, which we then masacred.

Perfection.

In just one word (with the exception of the disgusting heat), the weekend with my bff can be summarized with perfection.

The end.

awesomeness, squee, randomness, make out or get out, fun stuffs, co-dependent issues, chris pine, cheesy movies, amazingness
