...all the right things in all the right places...

And another week bites the dust.  The week ended up a fantastic note.  Work was busy, which has reminded me why I love working at the clinic so much.  We had one of my favourite Goldens come in today, and a Burnese... and we were doing surgery today and there were these two beautiful cats and this one Boston.. which makes me want a Boston *SO MUCH*.  But lately it's just been so dead that I've kind of forgotten why it is that I love working there.  But there was just this air in the clinic today and that made me just so happy to be there, and time went by so fast...

Plus we had a staff meeting and Revolution Seminar.  We had Swiss Chalet for lunch, which is an epic win all around.  And then the meeting.. blah blah blah.  And then there was this secret that was being revealed at the meeting, which we couldn't figure out what it was, no matter how hard we tried.

WELL..there are 5 clinics in our group.  And there is a challenge on right now between all five clinics to raise our profit and production over last year.  We have to beat last April, May and June by 20% of what we did last year.  Apparently, whoever does it and exceeds it by the most... the entire staff of that clinic  will have an all expenses paid weekend to Las Vegas.

I swear, everyone STOPPED and started screaming.

I. Will.  Die.  If we win.  OMG.  I want to win so much.  I want to go to Vegas like it's my job.  And to go, all expenses paid?

Sign me up.

In other news.  My mother and I went out for sushi for dinner tonight.  And we've got a resolve to try something new every time we go.  At least one dish has to be something we've never tried before.  So tonight it was her turn to pick something and she ordered this Mango Maki Roll.  It was an avocado and yam tempura maki roll, covered with slices of mango and a mango comopote.

I swear.  I almost died it was so good.

Date night with Rhonda has been postponed until Sunday night.  Which is good.  I mean, bad because I miss her like whoa, but good because we're still doing it.  Instead, I'm having a semi date night with Pesca, who has come up to my room to join me.  She's currently perched on my bed, behind me, stretched out with her front paws crossed ever so delicately in front of her, which is actually ridiculously adorable.

Also randomly?  I can not wait to get rid of the knee tensor I've been wearing since October.  Can I just tell you how absolutely disgusting it is and how bad it smells??  Because seriously, you'd think I'd have at least washed it once.  I haven't.  I don't think I thought I'd be wearing it this long.  I am.  It reeks.  But I can't walk without it.  And god damn it, I can't wait til I get my brace.

11 sleeps.  eep.

awesomeness, date night with rhonda, randomness, rambling, fun stuffs, real life, sushi, work stuffs
