...my mind goes on a trip...

Wow.  You know what sucks?  Having your period.  *shrugs*  Seriously, I hate it something fierce.  Not just the obvious, but the emotional rollercoaster that you're on.  The ridiculous hunger for things you don't ever eat and just the way I always feel so awkward in my body, like something's wrong, but I really don't know what it is.

Randomly, I wonder who I am and what they've done with the real me.  A new Joey McIntyre song came on the radio and I just sat there, staring at my radio like it was from outer space with a distasteful look on my face.  And dude, I wanted to MARRY him at one point.  Marry.  Him.   Seriously.

Crazy shit man.

It's probably me just growing up, but still.  I never thought I'd see *this* day.

Also randomly, the Nikki Yanofski song "I Believe" from the Olympics.  Still not tired of it.  I still absolutely love it.

Obligatory Oscar talk?  Star Trek got robbed.  ROBBED.  As did Harry Potter.  Just saying.

I wanted the chick from Up In The Air that was in Twilight/New Moon to win the Best Supporting Actress.  Mainly because I hate Kristen Stewart and this would just be something funny because you have her, the "star" of the movies who couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, and this other girl who is a minor role is actually an actress.  Because seriously, Kristen Stewart... watching you hurts me.  Physically and emotionally and spiritually.

*nods*

*shrugs*   That's all I really have to say about it.  I don't usually watch the Oscars, but had quite the fun time talking to my girls on Twitter while I was listening to the Oscars and knitting.  It was much more enjoyable that way.  Especially since Avatar was the only movie I'd seen that was up for multiple awards and I did NOT want him to win best Director *hissboohiss*

ALTHOUGH, because I'm Canadian, and thus we must give props to our country and it's awesomeness at any and all opportunities, apparently the Hurt Locker was originally scheduled to go straight to DVD rather than have a theatre release.  They didn't have a production company that was going to back it so they were going to go straight to DVD, and then they premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and one thing led to another but they found a company to back them.

And the rest is history.

\o/  YAY CANADA!

/end ramble

nonsensical babbling, my monthly cycle can suck it, rambling, what? growing up?
