Longest. Week.  Ever.

I swear.  Thank god it's over.  And now I just have two days of sweet freedom before it starts all over again.  Except the 15th is Family Day, so that's a holiday and I get the day off.  And because I'm awesome, I took the Friday before off as well, so FOUR DAY WEEKEND!!!  HOORAY!!! \o/

The week itself wasn't so bad, just felt excruciatingly long.

Highlights?

Heroes.  Peter + Sylar + sexual tension + wearing all black and being so effing hott = WIN!!!!!

Supernatural.  The whole ep = WIN!!!!  It made me want to find Jared Padalecki and just hug him tight.  Stroke his face, nuzzle his throat, run my fingers through his hair and tell him it's all going to be okay!  This season has been absolutely phenomenal.  Well done Eric Kripke.  Well done indeed.

KNITTING!  KNITTING!!!  *twirls and squees*  So my aunt was going to come with me to check out the place, get some new yarn and just hang out because friends of hers go to where I was going, but she wasn't feeling well and couldn't come.  So I hopped on the TTC and made my way down to Queen West.  It's this tiny shop that I almost walked right past.  And I went inside and there were people sitting at tables drinking tea and knitting and people smiled when I walked in.  So I went up to the counter and the girls were like 'here for the workshop?' and I said yes so she came around and we started talking.  I needed yarn and the needles so she told me to pick out some yarn and let her know when I was done.  I got my yarn, got my needles and went to sit at the workshop table.

Wow.  There are 8 of us and everyone's actually really amazing.  Not that I thought they wouldn't be, but it's just an eclectic bunch of women.  We were all introducing ourselves, talking about why we were there, why we wanted to learn how to knit and what we do.  And then Kristin came and the class started and I was so worried that everyone would be doing so well and I would look like a complete idiot.  But everyone was at the same page.  We all had problems and questions and then we were helping each other, and it was just so fun.  The two hours went by SO FAST and then I came home, knit until I could barely keep my eyes open and then passed the eff out.

I might venture to go to stitch and bitch on Tuesday night!  You just go, knit/crochet and drink tea/coffee/whatever and chat.  FUN!!!

And Olympics start next weekend! GUH!  Hooray!!

/abrupt ending (muahahaha)

supernatural, heroes, stitch & bitch, knitting
