...i guess there's just some things I'll never understand...
When I'm away from my computer, I swear I compose these journal blogs that are fantastically funny and informative but entertaining all at the same time. I have so much I want to say, and so many things to share. And then I get home, log on and get started and it all just flies out of my head.
It could be a product of all of the plastic I have to deal with in my life right now. The fauxness. And today I just took a step back from it. Did my own thing and just observed and then just felt sorry for them all. But instead I smiled, did what I had to do and got in and out with as little friction as possible.
Well done Julie. Well done indeed.
In other news, I saw Avatar on the weekend. In 3D. A friend of mine wanted to see a movie and that was what we could agree on. Plus he had passes so I didn't have to pay (not that I knew that at the time, that was just an added bonus). But without going in detail and gushing (as I'm apt to do but just really lazy), I loved it. I loved the graphics, I loved the fact that it felt like I was IN that world, I loved everything about it. Well, except for the James Cameron part (i still hate him with the power of ten thousand cmm angry glares), but damn it was a beautiful movie. Plus it did inspire a very extensive discussion after the movie, so well done douchey Cameron. But yes, phenomenal film. It did not change my life, but it did nudge me to think.
Tonight. Heroes. Will it be the night we (finally) see Sylar and Peter make out? Oh do I ever hope so. I'm not really counting my chickens on that one. I'd settle for AJ Samuel being blown to kingdom come. But then again, that's highly doubtful too. Bah. It's like Kripke giving us some Cas/Dean action. It's what we all want but god knows we're not gonna get it. I mean, not that there hasn't been blatant Sam/Dean inuendo all season...
If only these shows were on Showtime or HBO. *THEN* we'd get some action!!! Hell yeah we would.
Finally. Knitting 101 this friday. I. Can't. Wait. leopardchic79 has already put her request in for a knitted orange bikini. That will be my first 'major' project. I'm both excited to see it finished and the look on her face when I present it to her. But I'll mostly start with a scarf and a hat or mittens. We'll see how those go first! *muahahahha* Maybe I'll create a whole ensemble for her. Hat, mittens, scarf, bikini.
Won't that be phenomenal!!
