It's been WAY too long!
I can't remember the last time I updated... Too long ago.
I am currently working my fucking ass off. I'm doing 40 hours a week at Shop-N-Save and 20 hours a week at the hospital externing. That's just too much working if you ask me! OI VAY! I'm trying to keep my head screwed on straight, (well, as straight as can be expected for a lesbian), and I'm trying to keep things in perspective- this isn't a "forever" thing, this is only a temporary state which is one step closer to my goal of graduating, after a few more weeks of this I'll be graduated and I can get a "real" job- that sort of thing. Positive re-enforcement for my well-over-stressed body and mind.
Sonj and I got an apartment together, I honestly can't even remember if I've told you guys that. I am poor, she's not- but I am. She makes about three times what I make, but she's been incredibly helpful with my poorness, (I don't even know if that's a word). It's been very nice being able to live with her- just us. I'm able to walk around naked again- yippee! I have greatly missed that! It's quiet and clean and oh-so comfy.
I've been really thinking about where it is that I want to work, what kind of place I'd like to be at everyday and what kind of care I'd really like to be giving and I think somewhere like a nursing home or adult foster care is somewhere I'd like to be. I like old people very much when they're not driving or yelling at me about grocery prices. I love my grandparents an incredible amount and I think I'd like to help them and make sure they're safe and well taken care of.
I'll have to try and update again soon, now that I have internet access again. God, I had forgotten how much I love having it.
