Chistmas Re-Cap
I survived another Christmas with the fam. I can't say I enjoyed it immensly. The best part was probably coming home! Each year my parents' marriage seems to get even worse. I used to think they acted more like roommates, but even roommates seem to be able to stand the sight of each other. Mind you, nothing they do is overt. It's very much a passive aggressive atmosphere. It just feels damn cold to be in that environment. No wonder I have issues about marriage!!!
But I did enjoy the three days of baking I did (and the goodie trays I distributed)
and the scenery I saw on my drive.
The roads were a bit rough at times, but no worse than I've driven on before.
So there you have it folks. My VERY uneventful holiday. Stay tuned for the New Year's Eve update. Hopefully I'll have a date by then.
