I awoke in a strange place and a strange time, yet in a stranger form. I looked down at the vessel I was housed within and sneered. I looked around the room I was in and scented a foul stench. I knew what it was because I'd smelled it long ago. Human. The stink of them was everywhere, even on me. I frowned. This form will suffice only for a short period of time, but I would need a new shell eventually.
I saw my reflection and tilted my head curiously. Unused to the disgusting form I was within, I walked with halting steps, closer to the mirror. I reached up and touched the face that I was looking at, tracing the curves and contours. I wondered curiously...blue? I saw the image of a window behind me and I walked to it.
I stood there and could feel the scurrying of humans, like insects during a thunderstorm. During my time, I could feel a thick presence of demon like the wind at my back. And now, it was but a small tickle of sand against my foot. I glared at the city and it's twinkling lights. I could feel no presence of any other Ancient One and I knew what I had to do. I needed to raise my army and rid the world of this current infestation. I turned to go and saw a girl in the doorway.
