Interestingly in terms of coincidence, I spent all day unfucking my house in tiny bites because we came home from being out of town on Sunday night, my husband dumped everything on the floor including lots of stuff to set up a new turtle tank, and went to DC today...leaving me the entire house to unfuck so it can get actually cleaned tomorrow. And I still have torn tendons in three places and can't move very well.
So cleaning in ten-minute bites all day.
I'm not happy about being left with an entire house to unfuck between working and hobbling, btw. This shit has to change.
Oh, Nettle, that is HORRIBLE! Please, please be careful with yourself. Torn tendons completely suck. Yeah, 10 minute bites is the way to go with that. :/
At least I can rope the kids into helping with stuff. They might not like it, but as I tell them, I'm making them do this stuff because I luuuurrrve them (and because dammit I shouldn't have to be the only one to do shit around here).
Any chance of strapping a sponge to the bottom of a turtle and letting them clean? LOL- j/k, of course.

At least my friend who also works as a housekeeper and cleans the house a couple of times a month is here today and can take garbage down and stuff.
I hope this'll be better tomorrow. If not, I'm going to have to call people and have someone come over to feed cats and human.
