(no subject)
Kanbanwa! It has been such a long time. Well nothing has really changed much so that is probably why I haven't updated in a while. My semester has started out good so far but I know it is going to get harder and I will have to work really hard. I am prepared for it though. Well Mardi Gras Ball is next week. Kate and I are going to the real Ball they have in Mobile instead of the one at school because our friend Russ is part of the society and he got us tickets. Kate and Russ are going on Thurs. and I am going with Russ on Friday. So it is like a date. Hehe. That makes me happy because I really like him. My parents were really happy for me. Too bad that Kage couldn't come with Kate on Thurs. I am so glad he got the tickets. Although he was trying to get one more so maybe one night we 3 could all go together.
I am wearing my mother's dress that she wore to my aunts wedding. I love it because it is red and that is my favorite color. I can't wait until Spring break b/c on the 30th of March to April 1st, my friends and my family are going to this plantation that is in my family. I am so excited b/c I want to take them there. The food is absolutely amazing, and it is just a really nice place to relax. I always laugh at what my mom says. She says that all she feels like she does when she is there is eat. Well technically that is all you really do. I mean you can go exploring and go into town and other things. I have been going there since I was a child and I really love it. I was thinking about maybe asking Russ to join us. I hope he won't feel too weird, and I hope he can get off work. My dad also says that we have the house for Easter as well, but he might give it to someone else. The time we are going is great b/c that way my friends can go home for Easter and spend it with their families. I can't wait until then.
I can't believe it is already February. That means that Valentine's day is coming up. I never do much on that holiday b/c I don't have a person to share it with. Hehe. I had a lab practical today and I don't know how I did. I am kind of worried b/c I knew some of them and others I didn't really know. Well I have been getting better sleep b/c they stopped doing the construction in the room next to us. Kate went to complain to housing and they had to move the time to at least 10 for when they do construction. I am so glad b/c now we don't get awakened at 7 or 8 in the morning. I also can't wait until Mardi Gras Break! Any break I am happy for b/c that means no school. Yay!! Well I think that is all for now. I will write again when I have the time or something to write about. Ja ne!
