Hello! Okay I know I haven't written in a really really long time. I apologize for that. I am sure some people think that I died or something. Well nothing interesting has really happened to me. I went home this past weekend to spend some time with my sis b/c she flew back to St. Louis today. It is really lonely without her at home. Well I ( Read more... )

Sorry I've been hard to get a hold of- my phone's been acting really strange. It's just...stopped ringing when someone calls. And it won't show any pictures but it will still take them. At this rate I may have to get a new one (although on the bright side I did see the commercial for a new military model based cell phone that's supposed to be really durable, which is exactly what I need...we'll see).

If it's going to be lonely during the summer you should so come up and stay with Jill and I! That would be awesome! As for the plantation I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to go, though I'm certainly still trying to. My parents really wanted me to go but they're not thrilled about the idea of me walking all over the place (they know me too well) especially since my doctor said I need to rest more than I am. (By the way- never wear heels with a back injury, even if they're boots and your only pair of dress winter shoes... they end up having the same effect as the crutches heh. On a happy note I now have some new flat heeled shoes...)

I'm so excited that you're coming up on December 10th! Seriously- any time before actual Christmas would be absolutely perfect and stay as long as you'd like. My mom keeps asking when you're going to come up- Russ too- because she'd love to see you guys. And I promise that flying is actually amazingly simple (I don't know why parents/adults always make it into this stressful big deal...) so no worries. I think it's actually rather fun- it feels like you're setting off on an adventure!

~Hug~ Sorry to hear about your history class. Have you gone in and talked to the teacher about it? It's not easy to do but I'm always amazed at how helpful and understanding the teachers are, especially at Spring Hill. They can tell you what to study, what areas to work on, and maybe even set up extra-credit projects to improve your score. The fact that you care enough to come in and talk to them makes a difference too. Go for it!

I'm glad to heat that Seiryu is dancing! In the Tale of Genji there's actually a Seiryu Palace at the court. ^.^
